Menstruation is something you can’t avoid in a month. Sometimes our feeling become more sensitive, and makes us not in the mood. We can’t deny many unexpected syndromes such as stomachache, stiff body or pain in the head. But even though you have thought that you might feel all of those pains, you still feel curious or even depress when the cycle is not regular. Well, ladies there are important notes you should know about menstruation.
1. Sporty Girl
Many girls who do sport routinely, don’t get over pain during menstruation and have a regular schedule. Body exercise is good for your body before and during menstruation, but over exercise can be bad. It could make your body get amenorrhea or don’t have a menstruation at all. Amenorrhea potentially decreases the risk of osteoporosis.
2. Smoke
As I said on my previous article, cigarette doesn’t have good benefit for your body. Smoking habit will draw vein and trigger cramp on stomach muscle or even worst. Smoking woman has 3 times more in bleeding when she gets period than non-smoker. She is also menopause 3 years faster than non-smoker.
3. Friends circle
Pheromone is a substance which is released from armpit, and it responsible to influence the period cycle. This substance connects to you and your friend’s period cycle. No wonder when you have room mate, your period cycle will so close with hers.
4. Traveling
If you are always going to other place, it potentially disturbs your body rhythm also period cycle. It is because of many factors, such as depression during traveling, and position of the place (higher or lower than sea level). But your period cycle will be back to normal when you are back to the daily routines.
5. Age
When you are in reproduction phase, of course the cycle will be different in each phase of your ages. In puberty, the cycle is not regular and sometimes without ovulation. You have low and high mood because of the estrogen in your body has not normal yet. When you are almost getting menopause, you will be in a phase which is called as perimenopause. In this phase you will have irregular schedule, longer or shorter cycle or other symptoms which you have at the early ages of menstruation.
6. Sexually active
If you are sexually active, you body will ovulate regularly. So you better watch out if you wish to not have a baby. You should schedule your sexual activities with your partner when you are menstruating. It is very risky because when menstruating, venous in vagina is being in a state of open. Outside bacteria will come in and can generate infection.
7. Depression
Nerves and anxiety will make your body produce a kind of chemical substance which can disturb the hormonal balance which also arranges your period cycle. That’s why when you are in depression, you will late to get period or even stop. Thus, if you think that you are depression, try to make your body and mind relaxes with yoga, massage or bathes in warm water.
8. Diet Program
It is ok to make your body not over weight, but please do it in moderation. Loses too many of your weight can stop your period. The estrogen which has many functions in managing menstruation is in your body-fat. So if we don’t have enough fat, we don’t have enough estrogen to your period. If you wish to have diet program, consult it with the doctor to keep the physiology process in your body.
